Controlled Document A subdocument of a Governance Framework that is included by reference in the Master Document as a normative component of the framework. A Controlled Document is typically able to be revised independently from the Master Document, permitting a modular legal architecture. For the Sovrin Governance Framework, a list of Controlled Documents is included as Appendix A to the Sovrin Governance Framework Master Document. The present document (the Sovrin Glossary) is a Controlled Document.
